We’ve all said it.
I can’t figure it out. I can’t do it. I can’t see a way.
However, one small shift in your language can make real difference from can’t to: “How can I?”
When a consultant said, I can’t meet with my clients during the pandemic because they are older, I asked her if they could meet online. She said that they don’t always hear well and Zoom would be too difficult. When I asked her if they had smart phones, she said yes. I asked her to invite them using the Google Duo App for video chat. A click of a button and they would be able to see and hear each other. A new possible outcome to serve her clientele and have an easy-to-implement option.
It might take a moment and patience to create a new option, a new path, or a new plan. There’s always a way.
