I want to drop you a personal note this week to wish you a Happy 2024!
And, I want to share my word for 2024.
For years, I selected a word that was inspirational and
through which I took action.
One year, I selected the word magnificent.
That year, I happened to purchase a car.
I named her Magnificent (Maggie for short).
I still have that car and she brings me joy.
This year, the word wasn’t surfacing so easily.
Then it did.
The word is: Leap.
When it came into my mind, I thought, “Leap? That’s an odd word.”
That is, until I looked at the calendar and realized…
2024 is a leap year.
If this year you let go of things,
or relationships,
or old habits…
Know that 2023 might have been a completion year for you.
A year to let go of things or relationships that bogged you down.
A year to prepare you for something greater.
Consider that you may be getting ready for a leap in 2024.
And, we all get that extra day in February.
An extra day to make a difference.
To be better.
Creative.
A contribution.
So consider that 2024 is your year to leap!
