You probably have it in your desk drawer just sitting there.
You likely ran across it last week.
It might even be in something you created a while ago.
What is it?
Revenue hiding in plain sight. Revenue through something you already have created that you can repurpose and generate revenue from it.
What’s repurposing and how can it generate revenue for you?
Repurposing is a type of recycling but something that adds value or taps into a market that you haven’t tapped into yet. For years, entrepreneurs have used repurposing in their article marketing by breaking up a long article they previously published and expanding on a point for use in another article.
In much the same way, you may have a series of articles that, with little to no effort, can be put in the form of a book and sold. If you already have a book, you can put that on audio and tap into a new market of people who like audio books. If it is a printed book, then reformat it as an ebook for sale on Kindle or Nook.
Maybe you have a podcast that you recorded that can be saved to a CD and sold when you speak. You might even have a training program that can be repurposed and sold as a digital downloaded program at a slightly different price point giving another way your clients can work with you.
Consider what you already have that, with a few tweaks, can be repurposed spreading it to different platforms and different audiences.
