If “Dear Friend” written at the beginning of a letter is called the salutation, what’s the phrase at the end of your letter? I couldn’t recall so I looked it up. It’s called a complimentary close.
The complimentary close for most of my emails is “Create a Great Life.” Instead of using the word life, you could substitute the words day, business, or weekend. Sometimes I do. The majority of the time, I use the word life.
It’s intentional. It’s a reminder.
In being intentional about what you create, consider your:
Health.
Relationships.
Spiritual practices.
Philanthropy.
Personal brand.
Business brand.
Book.
Marketing.
Retirement.
Sales.
Succession plan.
Exit strategy.
Company’s culture.
These are parts of life that may change whether you are intentional about it or not. However, you might end up with something that’s not in alignment with what you intend.
Consider the possibility that you could be intentional about all of these areas and have them work simultaneously.
