As a business leader you wake up every morning and take a stand.
You may not realize it, but by showing up you choose to take a stand.
You take a stand for improving the world through your products and services.
You advocate, acknowledge, and act on.
When you don’t, your energy, your solution, and your approach is missing.
When it’s missing, lives that could have been changed, aren’t.
It’s why I am so passionate about working with business owners.
I know that when entrepreneurs are successful they pay it forward.
They pay it forward to non-profits and causes.
Those non-profits and causes transform their communities.
Their communities understand what it’s like to receive when they need it most and they pay it forward
And through that ripple effect, we can achieve global peace.
I wrote the following poem for all business leaders to remember:
To remember the contribution you are to the world.
I Am Standing for You
When I suggest a greater goal, I’m standing for you because you are capable of more.
When I say no, I’m standing for you because you have the ability to make it happen.
When I challenge your idea, I’m standing for you because you’re creative beyond measure.
When I don’t buy into your excuses, I’m standing for you to be the remarkable soul you already are.
When I hold you to account, I’m standing for the contribution you say you want to make for others.
When I stand for you, it’s because the world needs you.
